PARISH COUNCIL

 Advise the Pastor and Coordinate the activities of all Pastoral Life Committees. Coordinate outreach to inactive parishioners. Welcome and integrate new parishioners into The Maronite Mission. Plan special events to enhance the spiritual and community life of the family. Solicit volunteers needed to execute the Pastoral programs in the Mission. All members of the Council are appointed by the Pastor.

The Parish Council meets on the first Thursday of the Month from September through June.

STEWARDSHIP COMMITTEE

This council, made up of FIVE members along with the pastor, is appointed by the pastor as an advisory body to assist in the financial dealing of the Mission. Terms of service are for two years.

MYO & MYA

MYO

The Maronite Youth Organization, or MYO, is a national organization of Maronite Catholic youths between the ages of 12 and 18. The organization consists of local chapters based in the individual Maronite Catholic parishes around the country which come together to form the national group.

Youth wishing to join must meet the following qualifications for membership:

  • Age Requirement: 12 to 18
  • Active parishioners of The Maronite Mission

MYA

The Maronite Young Adult (MYA) organization is a group of Maronite Catholic disciples who intentionally live the teaching of the Catholic Church and embrace Jesus in their daily lives. By their service, social, and spiritual activities, they seek to live the Gospel of mercy and compassion and grow in their relationship with Jesus and one another.

Young adults wishing to join must meet the following qualifications for membership:

  • Age Requirement: 18 to 35
  • Active parishioners of The Maronite Mission

The MYA & MYO will meet once a month , each organization will have its own events and meetings due to the difference of age. However, some meetings might be joined if agreed and approved by the Pastor.

CHOIR

If you are gifted with a nice and beautiful voice, we encourage and invite you to join The Maronite Mission of Charlotte Choir.

The Choir practices will be held in the church once a month and as needed.

We are seeking as well organist who would help with the church music.
